I'm writing for a couple of reasons. First, thank you for including me in the group and for connecting with me individually - I'm really excited to get to know as many of you as possible. I'm a transplant from NC via NYC, and my family and I have really loved our time here so far (almost two years). I had heard that the construction industry was bad before I moved here, and that the residential market was flooded, but I had no idea just how bad it was until I moved here with my business (I'm a residential designer). So, it's been a couple of years and I'm still trying to scrounge up that first small project to get the ball rolling. It's been really frustrating at times to see all the construction sites on the sea islands and I haven't been able to tap into that market yet. That being said, I have to do something. A last ditch effort before closing my doors. I don't really know what else to do.
